Blueberry smoothie bowl.
Full of antioxidants and fibre.
This bright and colourful smoothie bowl is easy to make and delicious - a great summer breakfast. It includes healthy fats, omega 3s, fibre, antioxidants and is incredibly nutrient dense. The key is using frozen bananas, which makes the temperature cool and the consistency creamy. You are welcome to add any extra toppings; fruit, nuts, seeds.

Ready in 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 frozen banana (cut the banana in slices and store in freezer)
1/2 cup blueberries
3-4 tbsp plant milk
Toppings
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp nut butter
1/2 cup blueberries
2 tbsp granola (I used Lizi’s chocolate granola)
Method
Put the chopped frozen banana, blueberries, plant milk into a blender. Vitamix is ideal as it blends the frozen banana very well.
You can add more milk if needed - the consistency should be thick so you can add the toppings. Blend until smooth, and add the toppings as you wish!
