Berry acai bowl.
Sweet, refreshing and full of antioxidants.
Originating from Brazil, Acai is rich in antioxidants, fibre, protein and healthy fats. I found myself making this bowl every morning in the summer time - the perfect breakfast in warm weather. The key is using frozen bananas, which makes the temperature cool and the consistency creamy. The choices of toppings is endless, from coconut flakes to banana slices to berries. I love a variety of toppings for the texture and colours it brings the bowl.

Ingredients
1 frozen chopped banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
2-3 tsp Acai berry powder
3 tbsp plant milk
Toppings
chia seeds
strawberries
blueberries
mulberries
chopped dates
cocoa nibs
Method
Put the chopped frozen banana, frozen blueberries, acai powder and oat milk into the blender or Nutri bullet. You may need to add more milk, however do not add too much as you need a thick consistency for the smoothie bowl. Blend until smooth, and add the toppings as you wish!
